
Google released today on September 3 the next evolution of its mobile operating system, Android 10, for all of its Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones.

Update: Android 10 is now also available on unlocked Essential phones. Google's senior director of product management for Android, Stephanie Cuthbertson, also published a "Welcome Android 10" post here with more details on the roll-out.
After months of waiting—it was first talked about at Google's Android Developer Summit conference last November—and no less than 6 intermediate beta versions released to developers since last March, Android 10, previously known as Android "Q", has finally shipped.
